The Baltimore-conceived Super Art Fight pits artists—armed with only red and black markers—against each other in a draw like nothing you’ve seen before. The combatants doodle ferociously for a full 30 minutes in a show that’s part WWE and part Pictionary. Toss in the Wheel of Death, which determines which audience-suggested subjects the artist will depict (past suggestions include “The Passion of Raptor Jesus” and “Your Mom”), and you know it’s going to get down and dirty. By the end of each bout, the canvas is transformed into a masterpiece that rivals any rock club’s bathroom stall.
Super Art Fight takes place at 10 p.m. at Red Palace, 1210 H St. NE. $15. (202) 399-3201.
