The Cultural Alliance of Greater Washington will host the Arts Biz Ball on Thursday, March 24 to recognize The Rosslyn Business Improvement District (BID). The Arts Biz Ball will begin at 6:30pm at the ARTISPHERE. The event will include dancing, music, and good food.

The Rosslyn Business Improvement District will be honored for contributing $1 million for ARTISPHERE renovations. The BID also committed $300,000 for the life of the institution.

“The Rosslyn BID is one of very few BID’s in the country making an investment of this magnitude to a major facility,” said Jennifer Cover Payne, president of the Cultural Alliance of Greater Washington.

Artists, arts and business leaders will come and celebrate the Rosslyn BID for its visionary support of ARTISPHERE. The ARTISPHERE opened to the public in October 2010. The Center is located at 1101 Wilson Blvd. on the site of the former Newseum.

The Cultural Alliance of Greater Washington is a thirty-three year old arts service organization serving the arts in the District of Columbia, Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties in Maryland, and Alexandria, Arlington, and Fairfax Counties in Virginia.
