An Americana drumming icon, Helm performs “The Weight” and other classic hits from his time with The Band, as well as new material off his two GRAMMY-winning albums. Levon Helm got his start as the drummer for Ronnie Hawkins before splitting off on his own to play for the Hawks, which became Bob Dylan’s backing band after going electric. Renamed “The Band” soon after, Helm’s group went on to become one of the most popular and influential groups of the early ’70s. Dirt Farmer, Helm’s first album in a quarter of a century, was released in 2007. Both it and its follow-up, Electric Dirt (2009), earned GRAMMY Awards. Ramble at the Ryman, a live CD/DVD featuring Levon Helm performing with Buddy Miller, John Hiatt, and Sheryl Crow, among others, will be released May 3, 2011.

Known for their playful improvisations and mellow guitar rhythms, the 5 members of American jam band moe. have amassed a large and loyal fan base through their fiery performances and endless tours. More than 17 career albums showcase the group’s superb live presence, including The Conch (2003), which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart.
