Huey Lewis & The News Soulsville Tour with special guest Paul Thorn Band.
One of the best-selling acts of the ’80s returns with a new album, Soulsville, plus all their hits including “Power of Love,” “Back in Time,” and “The Heart of Rock and Roll.” Huey Lewis originally led the ’70s country-rock group Clover, but changed their name in 1980 upon the addition of lead guitarist Chris Hayes. The group’s third and fourth albums, Sports and Fore!, delivered the group nine Top 10 hits throughout the ’80s, including the Back to the Future soundtrack hit “Power of Love” in 1985. 2010’s Soulsville, the group’s first album in 9 years, pays tribute to the R&B and soul roots that has influenced the group, featuring “Cry to Me,” originally recorded by Solomon Burke, and the Staples Singers classic “Respect Yourself,” among others.
