Recently hailed as “awesome opera singers” by the NY Times, the three young singers, Piero Barone (18), Ignazio Boschetto (17) and Gianluca Ginoble (16), kicked off their debut U.S. tour September 24th with a sold-out show at Atlantic City’s Borgata. The talented trio are touring in support of their self-titled debut on Interscope/Geffen Records which has already sold over half a million copies.
IL Volo has appeared on national TV, including American Idol, The Tonight Show,The Today Show and Ellen, achieved a Top 10 iTunes ranking, and they wowed audiences all over the world with their guest appearance and performance of “Un Amore Cosi Grande” on the season finale of HBO’s Entourage, bringing Ari (Jeremy Piven) and Mrs. Ari (Perrey Reeves) back together. And their flawless rendition of “O Sole Mio” has been seen by over three million fans on YouTube.
