Remember that Geico commercial with the fake reality show Tiny House? Paul Meyers and Paul Donatelli’s Living Tiny is a documentary version of that ad: It follows individuals who’ve chosen to downsize into self-built, shack-sized homes in order to ride the cresting Zeitgeist waves of simplicity and sustainability. (“The new frontier is more about imagination than real estate,” one of them says by way of justification.) Though the seven-minute short doesn’t go into much depth, its compact size suits its subject well.
