We all have at least one closely guarded secret. Frank Warren has a million of them, which he acquired by founding PostSecret, the well-known blog that exhibits weekly anonymous submissions (secrets written on postcards) online. Since starting the project in 2005, Warren has published secrets ranging from admissions of infidelity and hidden sexual fetishes to embarrassing habits and serious criminal activity. Now, Warren is launching a new book, The World of PostSecret, full of never-before-seen postcards and entries from the PostSecret app. During a multimedia presentation, Warren will share some secrets deemed too extreme for inclusion in previous PostSecret volumes, plus ones that have changed lives. Warren will also share a secret from his own life and encourage audience members to do the same. Start thinking about what intimacies you’ll reveal. Frank Warren speaks at 7 p.m. at Sixth & I Historic Synagogue, 600 I St. NW. $30–$45. (202) 408-3100. sixthandi.org.
