Update, Tuesday: According to the Post, the dog has been reunited with his owner.
Rambo, a “friendly” chow chow/labrador mix who wandered into the West Hyattsville Metro station last Thursday, is now up for adoption. The dog captured hearts on Twitter after Metro Transit Police posted pictures of him to see if an owner would come forward.
Rambo is currently being housed at the Prince George’s County Animal Management Division shelter. Two adoption applications have been submitted for Rambo since last Friday, according to a shelter employee.
