Sixth Engine Executive Chef Kyle Bailey and Andrew “Boss Hog” Crush of Spring House Farm teamed up to put on “Pigstarter” earlier this month. The party paired area chefs with choice cuts of pork sourced from Crush’s farm.

Y&H recently chronicled Bailey’s status as Crush’s pro bono partner in eliminating “garbage pork” from area menus by supporting local farms willing to supply restaurants with half and whole animals.

After all was said and done at the event, there was a bevy of naked pig skulls hanging around begging to be Etsy-fied. That’s where Sixth Engine server Marissa Clingen comes in. Clingen snatched up the fanged remains and turned them into art. Some of the skulls are Star Wars-themed, while another matches the cover of a Daft Punk album cover. “Dude, they’re the best,” Bailey says.
