Several folks are joining forces to feed those who slog to work through Dupont Circle.

Starting right now, DGS Delicatessen is playing host to Sadie’s Weekdays from 7-11 a.m. Mondays through Fridays.

The breakfast cafe hoping to bring a taste of the New York bagel shop to D.C. is from the Colony Club team. “The name Sadie comes from a dear family friend,” explains Colony Club co-owner Max Zuckerman. “I also like that it sounds like it could be a shared distant relative of the DGS and Colony Club teams because we’re cousins.”

At Sadie’s Weekdays, baristas from the Park View coffee shop will come down and brew Ceremony Coffee from Annapolis, Maryland, and they’ll pull shots for espresso drinks using Tandem Coffee from Portland, Maine.

The bagel-based food menu (below) utilizes Bullfrog Bagels, plus products from DGS like crispy pastrami. In addition to bagel sandwiches, there’s also a yogurt parfait.

The closest competition is Bethesda Bagels up the street (1718 Connecticut Ave. NW) and Bagels Etc. (2122 P St. NW).
