Trevor Frye’s music-themed bar Five to One is still coming to the former Dickson Wine Bar space on U Street NW. Though the usual delays have put the bar behind on its projected January opening date, Washingtonians can get their first taste tonight inside Service Bar DC.

Five to One’s schtick involves creating a small “set list” menu of nightly cocktail specials that pay tribute to whichever band is playing at the 9:30 Club. Save for the location, tonight’s menu is no different. Frye’s three cocktails will nod at AFI because the rock band is playing a show Tuesday night.

Drinks include “New Wolves Await” with aquavit, lime, clove smoked honey, and apple brandy; “Begs to be Imbrued” with mezcal, single malt whiskey, Earl Grey agave, and bitters; and “Exhales Vanilla Lace” with Rujero Singani brandy, Campari, port, vanilla bourbon redux, and Boston Bittahs.

Try the drinks ($10 each) starting at 8 p.m. inside Service Bar DC (928 U Street NW). Bartenders there will continue to serve them until they run out.
