Finally, a Valentine’s Day gift that has more snark than sap. Thanks to Buttercream Bakeshop in Shaw you can pick up a box of “Boyfriend Brownies” from Feb. 10-14. The fudge bars are topped with whipped pudding buttercream depicting Hollywood hunks and appropriately sultry slogans such as Scandal’s Scott Foley asking to discuss “the state of our union.”

Yet somehow they missed Taylor Kinney delivering a pick up line about a firehose, or David Boreanaz saying just about anything about bones.

“We had all of the girls in the kitchen pick their favorite TV star and we came up with some catchy lines that relate to shows,” says bakery owner Tiffany MacIsaac. She was inspired by SoCal’s Sweet and Saucy Shop when it plastered Ryan Gosling wearing Christmas sweaters on sugar cookies. MacIsaac says she uses edible ink and printable sheets to achieve the desired look.

A box of six brownies costs $24 and can be purchased online. The shop will offer delivery within D.C. on Feb. 14 for an additional $12, while supplies last.
