As you scrolled through the last of the beachside rentals on Airbnb, all you could find were pricey or haunted properties. So, you decided to punt on going away for Labor Day weekend.
While it’s not Rehoboth, Cantina Marina in Southwest is on the water and brings the beach party vibe.
The great news is the bar is offering free Uber rides to the restaurant this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. The bad news is they’ve been doing this every Saturday this summer and you just heard about it. Labor Day weekend is the last chance to take advantage of the promotion until next year.
“Free” actually means up to $10 and it can only be redeemed once by riders who are 21 and older. Check the bar’s social media accounts on Saturday morning to get the code.
Cantina Marina’s menu spans fried seafood platters, three kinds of nachos, tacos, salads, and more along with $6 cans of beer and $9 frozen margaritas.
Saturday is also the day Cantina Marina and many other restaurants are participating in a fundraiser to support Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. The bar will donate 10 percent of sales to the cause.
And, you can bring your four-legger. Leashed and “well behaved” dogs are welcome.
