This show truly sells itself. Nobody says it better than Britney Spears: “It’s Britney, bitch!” Even though it’s been almost 20 years since her debut album …Baby One More Time was released, she’s still got her original performance mojo and then some. But now, she’s all grown up and a mother of two—far beyond being not a girl, not yet a woman. Most recently, she breathed new life and energy into her pop career with a four-year Las Vegas residency called Britney: Piece of Me that smashed box office records for solo Vegas performances. She’s now taking that show on the road and bringing a bit of her Vegas magic to MGM National Harbor. Her show not only features signature hits but also boasts pretty impressive staging with acrobatics and skillful choreography. Beyond the Vegas-like spectacle, there’s also something pretty inspiring about seeing Spears come out on top of a rollercoaster life and career. That’s truly something deserving of a standing ovation.
