Few things say summer in D.C. like getting seafood at the Maine Avenue Fish Market. Guests may swing by this still-standing institution once a week or once a summer, but it’s a day-in, day-out gig for the workers who sell and serve crustaceans from floating barges for seven days straight—before taking seven days off.
