It’s all gravy for biscuit and fried chicken fans as Mason Dixie Biscuit Co. reopens at its new Shaw address this Saturday at 8 a.m. The first 100 people in line will get a punch card good for five free naked chicken biscuit sandwiches.

The previous location on Bladensburg Road NE with a drive-thru component didn’t pan out and closed in March. With its new shop replacing Drift on 7th, CEO Ayesha Abuelhiga and her partners Chef Jason Gehring and COO Ross Perkins hope to focus on dine-in customers.

Mason Dixie will be open Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. with breakfast served from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and an afternoon menu served from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Brunch is offered Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. See all three menus below. Abuelhiga says they’ll eventually add Caviar delivery and online ordering.
