Signs have been posted at The Wharf for a new restaurant called Grazie Grazie where Taylor Gourmet used to be (85 District Square SW). The location isn’t the only thing that’s similar. So’s the menu. There’s “The Pattison” with sharp provolone, broccoli rabe, and olive oil, and there’s also the “Ben Franklin” with hand-breaded or grilled chicken, sharp provolone, marinara, and fresh basil. Twitter user Eat DC spotted the signage.

A spokesperson confirmed that Grazie Grazie is indeed from Taylor Gourmet owner Casey Patten and notes that it’s a solo venture. The local sandwich chain announced it would close all of its locations in the fall and filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy.

Only the airport Taylor Gourmet chugged on. The Airport Taylor is still open because it operates under a licensing agreement with a company called Concessions International, so it was excluded from the bankruptcy proceedings.

The spokesperson also says that Grazie Grazie will open on Tuesday. View the menu below.
